What ages do you treat?

Enchanted Behavioral Healthcare provides psychiatric care for adults ages 18 years and older.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes. Telehealth services are available for patients located in states where the provider is licensed, including Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington.

What conditions do you treat?

We provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of mental health conditions, including:

• Anxiety Disorders
• Depression
• Bipolar Disorder
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Sleep Disorders
• Psychotic Disorders

What is a psychiatric evaluation?

A psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of your mental health symptoms, medical history, treatment history, current medications, and treatment goals. This evaluation helps determine an accurate diagnosis and develop an individualized treatment plan.

How long are appointments?

Initial Psychiatric Evaluations: Approximately 40–60 minutes

Follow-Up Appointments: Approximately 20–30 minutes

What is the cost of services?

Enchanted Behavioral Healthcare is a self-pay practice.

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $200
• Same-Day Psychiatric Evaluation: $250
• Follow-Up Appointment: $100

Payment is due at the time of service.

Do you accept insurance?

Enchanted Behavioral Healthcare is currently a self-pay practice and does not participate with insurance plans.

Are superbills available?

Yes. Upon request, a superbill can be provided for patients seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance carrier. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance benefits.

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. Medication may be recommended when clinically appropriate. Treatment recommendations are individualized based on each patient's needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

Do you provide therapy?

Appointments include supportive talk therapy, education, and medication management. Patients who would benefit from ongoing psychotherapy may also be encouraged to work with a therapist for additional support.

Are controlled medications prescribed?

Controlled substances are generally not prescribed through this practice. In limited circumstances, certain controlled medications may be considered for patients located in Virginia when clinically appropriate and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Are same-day appointments available?

Limited same-day psychiatric evaluation appointments may be available for new patients. Same-day appointments are offered on a self-pay basis and are subject to availability.

How do I prepare for my first appointment?

Prior to your appointment, please complete all intake paperwork, provide a valid photo ID, and be prepared to discuss your symptoms, treatment history, current medications, and treatment goals.

What technology do I need for a telehealth appointment?

You will need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access, a camera, and audio capabilities. Appointments should be attended from a private location within a state where the provider is licensed.

Can I receive care if I am traveling?

Patients must be physically located in a state where the provider is licensed at the time of the appointment.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

Patients who miss an appointment or cancel without adequate notice may be subject to a missed appointment fee. Please refer to the practice policies for additional information.

Can you complete disability, FMLA, workers' compensation, or emotional support animal (ESA) paperwork?

Requests for forms, letters, and documentation are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may require an established treatment relationship. Additional fees may apply.

Do you offer PMHNP clinical preceptorship opportunities?

Thank you for your interest in completing a clinical rotation with Enchanted Behavioral Healthcare. At this time, we are not accepting PMHNP students for preceptorship placements, as our current student capacity is full. We appreciate your understanding and wish you success in your educational journey.

What if I am experiencing a mental health emergency?

Enchanted Behavioral Healthcare does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.

New Patient Process


Step 1: Book an Appointment

Submit an appointment through our website or contact our office to inquire about availability.

Step 2: Complete Your Intake Forms

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive access to our secure patient portal where you can complete your intake paperwork, provide medical history, and review required consent forms.

Step 3: Attend Your Psychiatric Evaluation

Meet with your provider through our secure telehealth platform from the comfort and privacy of your home. During your evaluation, we will discuss your symptoms, concerns, treatment history, and goals to develop an individualized treatment plan.

Step 4: Begin Treatment

Based on your evaluation, treatment recommendations may include medication management, supportive talk therapy, lifestyle recommendations, referrals, or a combination of approaches tailored to your needs.

Step 5: Ongoing Follow-Up Care

Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness, addressing concerns, and making adjustments as needed to support your mental health goals.
